A composite material (also called a composition material or shortened to composite, which is the common name) is a material which is produced from two or more constituent materials. These constituent materials have notably dissimilar chemical or physical properties and are merged to create a material with properties unlike the individual elements.
Dental composite

Dental composite resins (better referred to as "resin-based composites" or simply "filled resins") are dental cements made of synthetic resins. Synthetic resins evolved as restorative materials since they were insoluble, of good tooth-like appearance, insensitive to dehydration, easy to manipulate and inexpensive.

Composite video

Composite video is an analog video signal format that carries standard-definition video (typically at 525 lines or 625 lines) as a single channel. Video information is encoded on one channel, unlike the higher-quality S-Video (two channels) and the even higher-quality component video (three or more channels). In all of these video formats, audio is carried on a separate connection.

Composite video is also known by the initials CVBS for composite video baseband signal or color, video, blanking and sync, or is simply referred to as SD video for the standard-definition television signal it conveys.

There are three dominant variants of composite video signals, corresponding to the analog color system used: NTSC, PAL, and SECAM. Usually composite video is carried by a yellow RCA connector, but other connections are used in professional settings, or on devices that are too small for an RCA connector, such as a digital camera.

Exemplos do corpo de texto para composite video
1. Two component–video jacks, a VGA–style PC input (1'20x1080 maximum resolution), an AV input with S–Video and composite video, another with only composite video, an RF–style antenna/cable input, an analog audio output and an optical digital audio output complete the back–panel jack pack, while another AV input with composite video joins the HDMI port on the side panel.
2. The camera comes with a composite video cable for displaying pictures on a television, though HDTV owners should consider the optional component video cable if they want to fully take advantage of the feature.
3. Side panel inputs include one HDMI, and one set of AV inputs with composite video only, and an SD Card slot on the right side of the panel for viewing your digital photos.
4. There are also two legacy standard–definition video outputs, S–Video and composite video, but you should stick with the high–definition connections to take advantage of Blu–ray.
5. Measuring 1.75 inches tall by 5.25 inches wide by 5.25 inches deep, the box is slightly smaller than your typical cable modem, but instead having just an Ethernet port on the back, it‘s equipped with all manner of audio and video outputs: HDMI, component video, S–Video, and composite video ports, as well as digital optical or the standard red/white analog stereo outputs.
